Jack 1 and I decided we were at that point in our relationship that we should probably have the kids meet. We didn’t want to introduce each other just yet so we came up with this plan we would meet at a public place and let the kids find each other and see what happened. Both of us were going through a divorce and we didn’t want to rush into anything, but we also have such an amazing connection we both knew exactly where this was going.

It was a nice warm summer day and the weather was spot on perfect. We both planned to meet at a local splash pad with all the kids. He sat on the other side of the splash pad and we just watched our kids and texted back and forth. We wanted them to all get along so badly this was never going to work if they didn’t like each other. They all linked up almost instantly and after about a half hour Jack 1 came over to sit next to me, we talked and the kids came over asking for drinks and snacks, Jack 1 had got a bag of Cheetos for his kids to share but my monster has an addiction to Cheetos and he was going to make them his. Monster asked if he could have some Isis came over and took the bag they were bought by his dad. Jack 1 made sure monster got all he wanted even after I told him to stop. After it was over I asked my kids would you like to hang out with those kids again because I got the dads number and my Ooba said: “yeah because it’s your boyfriend”. He was the only one that knew. It was the best first meet ever.
